MiniCan 73mm x 62mm — label dimensions: 54mm high x 240mm wide.EtCan (without beading) 73mm x 110mm — label dimensions: 102mm high x 240mm wide.
MidiCan (with beading) 73mm x 115mm — label dimensions: 107mm high x 240mm wide.
MaxiCan 73mm x 132mm — label dimensions: 124mm high x 240mm wide.
For cans with a plain end, deduct 1 mm from label height.
For cans with the removable 'stash' base, or open cans with a curled top, add 2 mm to label height.
99mm diameter (any closure)
BabyJumbo 99mm x 70mm — label dimensions: 63mm high x 320mm wide.MiniJumbo 99mm x 119mm — label dimensions: 112mm high x 320mm wide.
MaxiJumbo 99mm x 175mm — label dimensions: 168mm high x 320mm wide.
SuperJumbo 99mm x 195mm — label dimensions: 188mm high x 320mm wide.
For Curled (99 mm diameter cans) add 1 mm to height.
For all labels:
- Dimensions include a 10mm overlap for gluing.
- Bleed is 3mm minimum
- 115gsm white art gloss paper is recommended.
- Paper "grain" to be horizontal (i.e. around the can)
- No glue to reverse.
- Finish with a seal varnish.
- Artwork needs to be prepared for AppleMac in Quark or Photoshop.
Label design
When creating label artwork we suggest that a predominance of white is avoided, as from experiencewhite backgrounds are easily marked during production and transportation.
Background colours should extend to the full length of the label, including the strip that will form the
overlap when the label is applied to the can. This ensures the overlap is masked as much as possible.
